Terms of Service

Pax ("Pax", "we", "us", "our") is a service operated by Yoram Perez, a French auto-entrepreneur, SIRET 88342013500013, registered address 29 rue des Deux Communes, 93100 Montreuil. You can contact us at support@paxai.me.

These Terms govern your access to and use of Pax at paxai.me and any related pages or services (the "Service"). By creating an account, starting a trial, or subscribing, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Pax is an AI-based advisory service that provides operational and career-related guidance for hospitality operators. Pax generates responses using artificial intelligence. It is a support tool for your own thinking and decisions.

Pax does not provide professional, legal, financial, medical, or employment-law advice. Its responses are general guidance only and may be incomplete or incorrect. You are solely responsible for any decision you make and any action you take. You should seek qualified professional advice before making significant business, legal, financial, or personnel decisions. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for decisions made or actions taken on the basis of Pax's output.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract to use Pax. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when signing up. One account is for one user; sharing account access is not permitted.

Pax offers a 3-day free trial. To start the trial you create an account and provide a valid payment method. No charge is made during the 3-day trial period. At the end of the 3 days, your subscription begins automatically and your payment method is charged the applicable subscription fee, unless you cancel before the trial ends. You can cancel at any time during the trial from your account or by contacting support@paxai.me, and you will not be charged. We may change or withdraw the trial offer at any time.

After the free trial, Pax is offered on a paid subscription:

Monthly: €29 per month.

Prices are in euros and include applicable taxes where required. Payment is processed by our payment provider, Stripe. By starting a trial and subscribing, you authorise us (via Stripe) to charge the applicable fee to your payment method when the trial ends and on a recurring basis thereafter until you cancel.

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price for your plan, unless you cancel before the renewal date. We may change our prices; if we do, the new price applies from your next renewal, and existing subscribers keep their current price until they cancel or change plan (see Section 7).

The Service is digital content and services supplied on subscription.

By subscribing and requesting that the Service begins, you expressly request that the Service begins immediately and you acknowledge that you thereby lose your 14-day right of withdrawal under Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, to the extent the Service has been fully or partially performed.

You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of your current billing period. You will keep access until that date. We do not provide refunds for the current or past billing periods, except where required by applicable law. We are not obliged to provide partial or pro-rata refunds for unused time.

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account (My Account) or by contacting support@paxai.me. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not refund the current period.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (in whole or part) at any time. Where a change materially reduces the Service you pay for, we will make reasonable effort to notify you.

You agree not to: use Pax for any unlawful purpose; attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service; resell or redistribute the Service or its output as your own commercial product; share your account; or use the Service to generate unlawful, harmful, or abusive content. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or that show patterns of abuse.

The Pax name, brand, interface, prompts, and underlying materials are owned by us or our licensors. You may use Pax's output for your own business and professional purposes. You are responsible for how you use that output.

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. The Service depends on third-party providers (including our hosting, database, and AI providers) and may be affected by their availability.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, business, or data arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under French law. Where our liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

These Terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence. Disputes may be brought before the competent French courts. As a consumer, you may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr and, in France, a consumer mediator; details available on request at support@paxai.me.

We may update these Terms. We will post the updated version with a new "last updated" date, and where changes are material we will make reasonable effort to notify you. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
